Remington 12ga 870

HD Duty II

AI&P Tactical HD Duty II is an upgrade to the HD Duty. This is a solid fighting shotgun. Heavy zinc parkerized 870 Magnum receiver is upgraded with the heavier carrier dog follower spring as found in the 870P. The bolt is upgraded to an 870 Police bolt. Wilson Combat over size safety is added. The Barrel is a factory parkerized 18.5" With XS rifle sights, these are the fastest sights on the market a V block is located at the rear of the barrel with a white stripe down the center, the front sight has a white dot and you simply place the dot on top of the stripe, or what I call dot the i and you are on target.   XS calls these low profile rifle sights, however the rear sight does not adjust for elevation, only windage, so I don't consider them rifle sights.  I consider them a bead sight with a rear sighting block. Also, this barrel is very expensive in my opinion as it cost $225.57 and is not even Tritium.   The barrel comes in fixed IC choke and an upgrade to fixed Modified is $10.  If you are looking for a Duty Weapon and have these sights on your handgun then this is the barrel you want as keeping the same sights on you Duty weapons makes sense in a gun fight.

The Stock is the Remington LE 13" LOP with R3 pad. The forend is the Choate LE which I have discovered is less abusive to your hand after long range sessions or quals. I have install the Wilson Combat 2 shot extension, this is the universal model without sling plate as I have installed a Mesa single point slotted attachment on the receiver. Note: you do not need a sling for HD but most tactical training courses require one so this weapon is set up for one. It would work perfect with any single point sling. If you want this weapon set up for two or three point slings I will simply use one of the other Wilson extension with your choice of left slotted plate, vertical slotted plate of vertical plate with QD stud, there is no extra charge for this as all Wilson extensions cost the same.  I install the
SBE Tactical Follower for smooth loading and enhanced feed.   You can negate the Mesa single point and take $15 of the cost of the weapon.   I have installed a Mesa 6rd Poly shell holder.  This new product has two retention strips to keep your ammo secure no matter what you are putting the gun though. Add the Surefire DSF forend for $280. I warranty this weapon in full for two years.

Change to the Magpul Stock set adds $25.  Color options when in stock are Black, Grey and Flat Dark Earth.

You option for forends are - Remington LE Synthetic - Speedfeed LE - Choate - These do not affect the price.

This weapon as Shown is $775.00 plus shipping to your ffl transfer dealer.
