For those of you that do not share my opinion of "Basic" and for those that want a tricked out shooter ( and yes I have one ).  I offer this build for you.  As with all AI&P Tactical shotguns the weapon is parkerized and upgraded internally with Police parts.  I install the Wilson Combat over size safety which is the only one that will work with the SpecOps.  I installed a receiver mounted Mesa Tactical Pictinney rail so you can add the optic of your choice. I install a Knoxx SpecOps stock for eating up 95% of the felt recoil and to this I add the Knoxx Power pack with shell holder and battery compartment.  I install the high cheek piece as this weapon is designed for Optics.  The barrel is an 18.5" factory parkerized police barrel with factory installed Tritium front bead in the even your optics fail you simply remove them and you have a tritium sighting option.  It has a fixed modified choke for tight patterns with buck shot and tight groups with slugs and is the best smooth bore slug barrel around.  I install a Mesa Tactical quick detach single point sling attachment that remains on your single point sling and goes on an off the weapon in the push of a button.  I also install a forward vertical Wilson Combat slotted sling plate to give you additional mounting options.  I install a Speed Feed LE forend and also a Remington LE 2 shot extension.  You have a Mesa Tactical barrel bracket with pictinney rail that you can position where you want it and even change sides and positions of the rail to accommodate your light options.  This weapon sells for $795.00 plus shipping

As stated, I believe to be effective these weapons have to be kept as basic as possible to serve the intended need.  Every few days a guy buying a weapon for home defense insist on a breeching choke or stand-off on his home defense weapon.  I do my best to talk most out of this as it serve no purpose and only makes the weapon longer and less friendly to the hallways and doorways in their home.  It also adds a lot to the cost as I only use the Tactical Rem Choke and that changes the barrel as well.  These items may have an application but not on an HD weapon but  for all you guys that I can't talk out of this useless add on I have come up with a solution.  Introducing the AI&P Tactical Breeching attachment.  Stainless steel for long life.   Just $59.99 ( barrel not included),  Get yours today.
