Remington 870 Tactical 12ga for the shooter that wants features not found on my other models.  This is not recomended as a Home Defense Shotgun nor as a Duty Shotgun.  As with all AI&P Tactical Custom shotguns this is built with all factory new parts and accessories.  the receiver has been bead blasted, engraved with "AI&P" under the ejection port then pre-blackened and parkerized with heavy Zinc.  These barrels only come in a matte finish so we bead blast it parkerize it to match the receiver then hone and polish the bore and chamber to a mirror finish.  This is an 18.5" barrel with bead sight and threaded for Rem Chokes.  It comes with one Remington Tactical Choke and you can change out the chokes to suit your shooting needs.  A Remington LE 2 shot extension is also parkerized to match the weapon.  The Knoxx SpecOps stock gives you a 95% reduction of felt recoil.  The Mesa 6 round shell holder with Pictinney rail allows you to mount the optics of your choice.  The good thing about this rail is that should you optics fail you can sight under the rail and see the bead, in fact, the rail frames the target and anything in that frame is going to get hit so it serves as a secondary sighting system, there is a very poor picture of this below as the idiot with the camera ( me) can't focus on the bead and properl focus on the rail but you get the idea.  This is critical in a fighting shotgun as with a receiver mounted rail you would have to remove the optics if they fail and that could be hard to do under fire.  The Sure Fire 618FA has a constant on/off and pressure pad and is all most of you need, but there are other lights I can upgrade this weapon with.  This weapon is $ 1,120 plus shipping...............
