I just purchased a Basic I from JD, and am very pleased with the weapon. I take comfort in having my home defense weapon built by a man with as much knowledge about the 870 as JD. The fact that JD takes the time to answer any questions you may have makes this an unbeatable deal. I would recommend AIP to anyone.

J.D. did everything I asked of him on my old 11-87. I had extraction issues with several kinds of duck loads and sent my 11-87 in for a tune up. After talking to J.D. and a small wait, what I received looked like a new gun. He even parkerized the old barrel to match the new 18.5 bbl. And the weapon shoots perfectly even with mixed and matched shells. Would recomend without hesitation.
