Thanks J.D. for taking the time to not only answer my questions but to give common sense advice about buying a shotgun. I couldnâ??t be happier with my HD/Duty. Youâ??re right, â??Simple is Betterâ?�. I completed the â??100 for 100â?� and the action is very smooth. J.D. is one of the nicest folks to deal with. He knows his stuff and does great work. I highly recommend JD McGuire and AI&P Tactical.

the 870 mag reciever I sent for JD to parkerize came out fantastic! He believes in doing every job to the highest standard and the pride he takes in his craft shows. Between emails and phone calls, he's great to work with during the rebuilding process and is a great source of information on these weapons. I'd definetly do business with him again.

Picked up my HD/Duty 870 this afternoon. I can attest that JD does excellent work. The parkerizing is great; about the best I have seen. Even better than the FN parkerizing on some of FN's top end guns. I ran 50 rounds of #8 trap rounds through the gun, which performed flawlessly. Then ran 5 rounds of 00 buckshot through it and patterned the gun. At 20 yards, the pattern forms a 12.5 inch circle and is dead center on point of aim with the rifle sights. I have an older 870 Magnum which will shortly be on its way to JD for refinish and rework and a second barrel. JD can work on my guns any day. Superb work, JD. Thanks.

J.D. - First off I would like to say, "THANK YOU!!!...... I am more than happy with my custom AI & P Tactical shotgun. Your knowledge, patience, time, and expertise are greatly appreciated......thank you. My story: I was in the market for a police shotgun so i did some internet searching. Time and time again J.D.'s name and business were metioned....all reviews were great so I decided to give him a buzz. My first phone call to him ending up being about an hour long....he answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was a pain in the a#@ that I was. Real customer service....no sales "B.S."......J.D. is the real deal. When we ended our conversation, J.D. told me to think about what I wanted / if any and touch bases with him later. After a week or so of figuring out what I wanted I finally gave J.D. another buzz (#2). We spent another half an hour or so I the phone just making everything clear. From there, the process was in full swing. J.D. kept me posted the whole way with e-mails and phone calls......next thing I knew, I was at my local gun shop holding my brand new Blued AI & P Tactical 870P. The fit and finish is great and the weapon looks and functions flawlessly. The action is still a little tight but J.D. warned me that it would be. He said after a couple hundred rounds she'll be silky smooth. I've only shot 50 rounds through her so far and she's already lossened up a bit.
