There's nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said in all the previous posts. My Basic II is a great shotgun at a great price put together by a great American, JD McGuire!

J.D. did a fantastic job building my 870. So far fit and function is perfect. I picked it up from my ffl less than a week after I placed my order. Dealing with him was a pleasure and when I purchase in the future it will be from Mr. J.D. McGuire.

i recently purchased a tactical II (with a few changes) model from JD and i must say the gun looks fantastic. the finish is perfect, the action is smooth, and i have the upgrades/accessories i want with nothing i dont. it would have cost me several hundred dollars more than what i paid to buy the gun and add the upgrades one at a time. JD's build from scratch method just makes life easier. did i mention the gun is fantastic? i took it to the range and broke the gun in per his instructions and to no surprise everything worked flawlessly. JD will definitely be getting more of my business in the future. One happy customer here.

Hey JD: I want everyone to know how pleased my agency is with the HD/Duty shotguns you built for us. They are hands down THE MOST ACCURATE shotguns I have ever seen. I have a $2,100 custom shotgun from another maker that doesn't even come close to the accuracy yours produced for us. 10 Federal slugs at 50 yards in the 9 ring of a B27 is amazing. It was a pleasure to get to know you and hear your practical down to earth advice about a combat shotgun. The value of your shotguns is second to none as well!
